Add data connectors to query and work with external data from Snowflake and Databricks while building apps. Snowflake and Databricks data connectors are set up at the workspace level and can be used across apps in that workspace. You can add them from your workspace settings, from your app dashboard, or directly from the AI chat in a specific app.

Snowflake

Connect Snowflake to query and work with data from your Snowflake account while building apps.

Databricks

Connect Databricks to query and work with data from your Databricks account while building apps.

Before you begin

Prepare the data platform details for Snowflake or Databricks before adding the connector in Base44. See Preparing connector details.
Access depends on your workspace setup and the permissions available in Snowflake or Databricks.

Preparing connector details

Before adding a data connector in Base44, create or open the OAuth app or integration settings in Snowflake or Databricks. The exact setup depends on the data platform. Make sure you have access to the Snowflake or Databricks account you want to connect. During setup in Base44, click View redirect URIs, add the Base44 redirect URIs to the OAuth app or integration settings, then copy the connector details into Base44. To prepare connector details:
  1. Create or open your OAuth app or integration settings in Snowflake or Databricks.
  2. In Base44, click View redirect URIs during connector setup.
  3. Add the Base44 redirect URIs to the OAuth app or integration settings.
  4. Copy the Client ID.
  5. Copy the Client Secret.
  6. Prepare the Scopes your app needs.
Treat your Client Secret like a password. Do not share it with others or include it in screenshots.

Adding a data connector in Base44

Once you have your data platform details, add the data connector from your workspace settings, from your app dashboard, or from the AI chat in a specific app.

Connect Snowflake and create a dashboard from my warehouse data.
Query Snowflake to show sales trends by region.
Connect Databricks and create a dashboard from my workspace data.
Query Databricks to show product usage trends.
You can ask the AI chat to create pages, dashboards, reports, summaries, or workflows that use the connected data platform.
