Custom Domain Setup Guide
To connect a custom domain to your Base44 app, follow these steps
1
Prepare your domain
- Use only lowercase letters

Remove any trailing spaces or tabs
Domains with uppercase letters or extra whitespace won’t verify correctly.

Add the domain
- Go to Workspace → Domains
- Click Add Domain and enter your domain (e.g., mycoolapp.com)

DNS configuration
Set the following at your domain registrar:
ANAME/ALIAS Record (if supported)
ANAME/ALIAS Record (if supported)
- Name: @
- Value: base44.onrender.com
If ANAME isn't supported, use A Record instead
If ANAME isn't supported, use A Record instead
- Name: @

Value: 216.24.57.1
Make sure this is the only A record
CNAME Record (www)
CNAME Record (www)
- Name: www
- Value: base44.onrender.com
Optional: To connect to a subdomain (e.g., good.example.com)
Optional: To connect to a subdomain (e.g., good.example.com)
- Name: subdomain prefix (e.g., good)

Value: base44.onrender.com
Remove any AAAA records

Verify the domain
- Go to Workspace → Domains

Click Verify next to your domain
DNS changes may take up to 48 hours
Reusing domains from Deleted Apps: If the domain was used in an app deleted before June 5, 2025, contact support to clear it from Base44 records before reuse.
