Relationship to other discounts

  • The personal sale gives 30% off whichever eligible yearly plan the person chooses in that 48‑hour window.
  • After the first purchase with the personal sale, future renewals follow the standard yearly pricing for that plan.
  • If the person does not purchase an eligible yearly plan during the 48‑hour window, they lose access to the personal 30% discount.
  • The personal sale is separate from the standard yearly price benefit described below.

20% discount for yearly subscriptions

This is a permanent price benefit for yearly billing.

Promotion details

  • Audience: All accounts, new and existing.
  • Timing window: Always on.
  • Discount level: Around 20% lower effective monthly price when paying yearly instead of monthly for the same plan.
  • Eligible billing period: Yearly subscriptions.
  • Eligible plans: All plans that offer monthly and yearly billing.
  • Where it appears: In the price comparison between monthly and yearly options, no coupon or special banner is required.
  • Expiry behavior: No defined end date, as long as the pricing model remains the same.

Relationship to the personal 30% discount

  • The 20% yearly benefit is part of standard pricing and can be mentioned publicly (unlike the personal sale).
  • If someone buys a yearly plan with the personal 30% discount, their renewal follows the regular yearly price that applies at renewal time.
  • The 20% yearly benefit is always available, even when the personal 30% sale is not.

Click a question below to see what is happening and how to handle it.
Someone on a monthly plan may ask for the yearly discount or for the 30% personal sale.To handle this case:

The account is new, the person is inside the 48‑hour window, and they can see the personal 30% banner. They may ask if the banner is real or how to use it.To handle this case:
  1. Explain that the banner shows a personal promotion that gives 30% off eligible yearly plans (Builder and above) during the first 48 hours after signup.
  2. Clarify that the discount is applied automatically when they choose an eligible yearly plan within this window.
The person signed up recently, purchased a plan, then mentions that they saw or heard about a 30% promotion and want it applied to that purchase. This situation is treated as not eligible for the personal sale.
The person signed up recently, purchased a plan, and now wants to change to a different plan or billing term and still receive the 30% promotion. This situation is not eligible for the personal sale.
