Who is eligible
You are eligible for the student and educator discount if:- You have a valid university or institution email address recognized by Base44
- You have never subscribed to a Base44 paid plan before
The discount can only be claimed once per verified email address.
How to claim the discount
The discount offer appears as a banner on the Plans page. Click the banner to open the verification flow and complete the steps below.Step 1: Verify your university email
Enter your university or institution email address. Base44 checks it against a list of recognized academic domains, including .edu, .ac.uk, .ac.jp, and other academic top-level domains.Step 2: Confirm the verification code
A 6-digit verification code is sent to the university email address you entered. Enter the code to confirm that you have access to that inbox.Step 3: Complete the survey
Answer a few short questions about how you plan to use Base44:- Role: Student or educator
- Field of study
- Graduation date
- Intended use
Purchasing with the discount
Once you complete verification, the discount is applied at checkout when you subscribe to a Starter or Builder plan. To purchase a plan with the discount:- Click your workspace name at the top left of your account.
- Click Settings.
- Click Plan and billing.
- Click Subscribe on the Starter or Builder plan.
- Select your billing cycle. The discounted price is shown before you confirm.
- Click Continue to Checkout and complete your purchase.

If your university or institution email is not automatically recognized, contact Base44 support and provide your email domain. The team can review and add it to the recognized domain list.

On a monthly plan, the 30% discount applies for up to 12 consecutive months and then expires. On an annual plan, the 50% discount applies to the first year only. After the discount period ends, your plan renews at the standard rate.

No. The student discount and a promo code cannot be combined. If you have both, the student discount is applied automatically at checkout.

If you cancel your plan, you lose access to the discount. The student and educator discount can only be claimed once, so if you resubscribe later you will be charged at the standard rate.
