We have updated the Base44 Terms of Service, effective June 21, 2026, to better align the Base44 Terms with industry standards. This article summarizes the main changes. The full governing text is in the Base44 Terms of Service. We encourage you to read them in full.
By continuing to use Base44 after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms.

Subscriptions

  • We’ve added a dedicated section explaining how our AI credits work.
  • We clarified that you have the right to cancel the auto-renewal of your subscription at any time.
  • We have removed your obligation to pay interest due to delayed payments.

Accepting payments through your apps

  • The new Terms address how you can sell products and services through apps you build on Base44.
  • We also clarified matters related to tax payment responsibilities.

Prohibited uses

  • The Terms now clarify that any use that is prohibited under applicable law isn’t allowed, including practices which are considered “prohibited” according to the EU AI Act.
  • Additionally, if you use Base44 for high-risk purposes (as defined in applicable laws), you are responsible for complying with the relevant regulations.

Additional rights for Israeli customers

We’ve added an addendum for certain Israeli users covering updated cancellation rights and refund policy.

Licenses

  • The new Terms now state that Base44’s services (for premium users) are intended for use by businesses and organizations.
  • We also made some changes to the license to better support our ability to provide our service to you, including by using and training AI models.
  • The new Terms allow us to send you promotional messages and use certain content you create for promotional purposes.

Warranties, liabilities and indemnification

  • We redrafted the warranty section. As Base44 is an AI platform, we specifically disclaim warranties relating to AI outputs, which can sometimes be inaccurate.
  • You are responsible for independently reviewing AI-generated output before relying on it.
  • We also updated the sections on liability and indemnification, which include your obligation to indemnify Base44 in cases where your breach of the Terms or laws caused damages to Base44.
  • We clarified that you are responsible for exporting your data before your subscription ends, if you wish to do so.
