api search

Search the Apps API and Workspace API operations by keyword and get back the ones that match best. Use the words you’d expect in the operation’s name, such as failed workflow runs. Common words such as “the”, “my”, and “how” are ignored. Each result gives you the endpoint to pass to api fetch. Operations whose summary contains every word you searched for come first.

Usage

base44 api search <text...>

Arguments

Argument	Description	Required
`<text...>`	The words to search for, for example `failed workflow runs`.	Yes

Flags

Flag	Description
`--limit <n>`	Maximum number of results to return. Defaults to `5`.
`--read-only`	Return only operations that can’t change anything, the ones `api fetch --read-only` lets through.
`--refresh`	Get the latest list of operations from the server instead of the copy the CLI saved, which it keeps for up to an hour. Use it when an operation that was added recently is missing.

Output

The command returns a JSON array of matching operations, best match first, or an empty array when nothing matches. Each one has an endpoint, its method and path template, and a one-line summary:
