# Base44 SDKs

> JavaScript SDKs for building apps and platforms on Base44

Base44 has two JavaScript SDKs. Use the App SDK to work with an app's entities, functions, and users, from inside a Base44 app or from your own frontend or backend. Use the Platform SDK when you build a platform that runs the Base44 app editor inside your own product.

| Credential | An app user's token, or the service role | In the browser, a short-lived session token from your server. On your server, Base44's webhook public keys, which verify each delivery. |
