# actors delete

> Delete one or more deployed actors

Delete deployed [actors](/developers/backend/resources/actors/overview) from Base44. This removes the remote deployment only and doesn't affect local actor files in your project.

If an actor isn't deployed, the command reports it as not found and still succeeds. If one actor fails to delete, the command continues with the rest and reports every outcome.

<Warning>
  Connections from clients to a deleted actor fail. If the actor files are still in your project, the actor returns on the next deploy.
</Warning>

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
base44 actors delete <names...>
```

## Arguments

| Argument | Description | Required |
| - | - | - |
| `<names>` | One or more actor names, separated by spaces or commas. | Yes |

## Flags

| Flag | Description |
| - | - |
| `--app-id <id>` | Target the specified app. Defaults to the app linked in the current project. See [Select a target app](/developers/references/cli/commands/introduction#select-a-target-app). |
